Kedibone Health System Consultants was established in January 2008. The company is registered as a cc (2009/020828/23)
and started trading as such on the 1 March 2009. Kedibone uses a health system approach which is based on ethical underpinnings through which it strives to do "the right things for the right reasons and at the right time", as appropriate to the specific client's need. The main focus of the company is to use the expertise and experience of health professionals to advocate for health in SA and else- where in Africa. The consultants aim to assist and support health professionals and to strengthen health systems, thereby improving the quality of health care provided to individuals and communities. Consultants associated with the Company have extensive experience relevant to health systems throughout Africa and further afield. Kedibone Health System Consultants offer long-term commitment to clients, including ongoing support and follow up activities as deemed necessary. The consultants offer a unique combination of varied and extensive skills, and where required will work in collabo- ration with other consultants and companies to reach the determined goals of projects. The company recognises the needs of health professionals and the changing competencies they require to meet the challenges of the health environment within which they function, both clinical and management related. |
Vision The vision of Kedibone Health System Consultants is to strengthen and develop health professionals and health systems in order to improve the quality of health care delivery. Mission Kedibone Health System Consultants is committed to the strengthening and development of health systems to improve health care through: • The assessment of health systems to determine ways in which to improve systems to ensure better functionality; • The development of the capacity of health care professionals to ensure the availability of well skilled health care professionals and managers; • Ensuring that training and continuing education is appropriate and available to health professionals, in particular nurses, using innovative strategies that are cost effective and appropriate to meet the changing health needs of the people they serve within given communities; • The identification and implementation of strategies to ensure support and development of professionals, in particular nurses, within the work place to ensure a people centred approach to health care provision; • Determining whether health programmes and projects meet appropriate and sustainable outcomes. |
